What we need

Sabadda is an online Asian grocery store that only collects personal information that is necessary to deliver groceries to customers. That includes email and SMS updates on the order and delivery status. We also, occasionally, send emails and SMS about new products and offers from which you can opt out at any time. We only collect basic personal data including name, address, email and phone number.

When you place an order on our store or on our app, we need to share your name, address, email and phone number with our carrier so that they can deliver it to your door.

What we do with it

Any personal data we collect is hosted on secure Shopify servers. Only Sabadda's top-tier staff has access to this data. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data except when we share it with them in the process of delivering groceries to your door.

We have data protection measures in place to keep your personal data secure including firewall and antivirus.

How long we keep it

We keep your basic personal data such as name, address and contact details as long as you have an account at Sabadda. If you have subscribed to receive marketing emails from us, your email will be with us until you unsubscribe.

Data Breaches

All customer information resides on safe and secure servers located within the EU. We will report any unlawful data breach of our website’s database or the server database(s) of any of our third party data processors to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request Sabadda to erase any and all personal data of yours at any time. You also have the right to view a copy of your personal data that Sabadda has stored at any time. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us and we will investigate the matter. If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
